Camping at the Beach

We ended our summer camping at the Beach. Good times and Good food. Thanks to Brian

Baby Noah

We are looking forward to welcoming "Baby Noah" into our family soon. His due date is Oct 16th. I have spent the last several weeks moving Myles into his big boy room and setting up the new nursery. It has been emotional to say the least. We are all so excited.

Happy 4th Birthday Myles

We went to Sea World this year for Myles Birthday. I cannot believe "my boy" is 4 years old.

Sea World was so much fun. We feed the dolphins, played with the sea stars and loved shamu the "Shark". Myles had his sharks and whales confused.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Greene for the awsome big boy bike.

It's a Mystery

What is it about dirt that intrigues children so much?

Forever Grateful

These past few weeks have been crazy, awesome, exiting, fun and unforgettable. Let me catch you up. Last month, after a long 3 years, we were picked by a birth mother for adoption. Her name is Christina, we are due on Oct 16th, 2008. She has moved to California to have the baby which has allowed me to kinda be part of everything. SO FUN FOR ME

Today was the sonogram, I could hardly contain my excitement and I could not hold back the tears. I will be forever grateful to Christina.

My Super Hero

Batman and Superman pajamas are the new great thing. When I bought these this week I just knew they would be a hit. Let face it, what little boy can resist a cape.

Urgent care glove balloon saves the day.

Mother's day was an eventful day. It started like any other Sunday (crazy). Myles of course has decided that church clothes are the enemy and refuses to get dressed. I usually have to resort to some kind of bribe, however since we were going over to grandma house after church I was able to use the good old. " if you do not get dressed for church then we cannot go to grandma's ". Yeah it worked

This year, since Myles is now in primary, he went up with all the other kids to sing "Mother I love you" and a few other songs. Myles was adorable. He was all dressed up with a big smile, but he did not sing he just watched all the other kids sing. I am pretty sure he had never heard the songs before. Next year I will practice with him so he can really belt it out. He just loved being up there in front of everyone.

Later that afternoon Myles and I made a trip to the Urgent Care. He had been complaining that his tummy hurt for the past couple of days so my sister got a flash light out and look into his mouth and thought it looked like strep. The urgent Care was slow and we were able to see the doctor quickly. Dov said it was not Strep so back to grandmas we went. Myles is eating better today. Better safe than sorry.

We had a wonderful mother's day meal. The men got together and made assignments, they cooked and cleaned.

Individual Style

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have always tried to dress Myles cute with some style. I have never been a fan of the main stream ideas of baby clothes for little boys. Why is it that you can always find a simple shirt for a girl but everything made for boys has cartoons, cars, dinosaurs, monsters, airplanes etc on it.

Now that Myles can get himself dressed (I'm so proud) my styles has been pushed out. I have not been able to put my finger on what his style is, but STYLE IT IS.
Getting him to wear anything I want him to wear has become a losing battle for me. I know when to give up, so now my darling little boy is now the crazy dressed cute kid.

Thank goodness for washable makers

Myles and I are ruffing it alone without Dad this week. Things have been going some what smooth. You never realize how much your spouse does until they are gone for few days. I wonder if Brian feels they same way when I leave ?
This is what happen when you let 3 year old boys play alone in their room. What can you do but take a picture and laugh. Thank goodness it was washable makers.

Family slide show (scroll down & turn music off)

Family is everything to us!

We have been so blessed to have most of our family living very close buy. This affords us the great blessing of getting together often for Sunday dinners, birthday parties, holidays and "just because."

Wendy’s family is “LOUD” & Brian’s is “QUIET”. They seem different on the surface but both are loving, happy & supportive of us. Our son, Myles, has wonderful grandparents that spoil and adore him and 14 cousins that he loves to get together and play with (especially if they get to swim in Grandpas's pool!).

Brian and I have always wanted a big family of our own. We feel so blessed and lucky to have been given the gift of our little boy. Myles would love to be a big brother and we can hardly wait for the chance to add another child to our big circle of LOVE!
